You will need to perform the “Non-Tumbling Routine” and be scored in Jumps, Dance, Choreography, transitional elements, overall performance and Stunts. You will be required to come in to Stunt Tryouts Friday May 31st 6:30pm-7:30pm. You will be asked to demonstrate stunting skills with a stunt group that will be provided starting at level 1, and progressing though the levels until a clear stopping point is seen by the All-Star Staff. Your individual try out will give us some further insight to your cheer skills and help us to decide your placement. (If you are trying out with the Non-Tumbling Routine you will be coming in twice, once to perform your routine on the appropriate day and time listed in the Evaluation Packet, and once Friday May 31st to perform your Stunt Tryout.)

Non -Tumbling Try Out Routine

  1. Transitional Passes
  2. Jumps
  3. Performance
  4. Dance

Please be advised that non-tumbling positions are extremely limited. There is no guarantee that you will make the level in which you are trying out for, as many factors are involved. In non-tumbling routines, we are looking for you to really stand out in one or more other skill categories.
